Morrison-Talbott Library, 215 Park Street, Waterloo will host Contentious Presidencies of the 1800’s by Andrew Cooperman September 27, 2012 at 7 p.m. Andrew Cooperman is the library’s historian.

In this year of political stress, the atmosphere can seem besieged with today’s problems. This feeling is not unique to our century. Contentious Presidencies of the 1800’s is a program about the presidencies of John Quincy Adams and Chester Arthur.
