Artie met expectations he did not exceed them. I found his act to be somewhat lazy. I was concerned that I would hear the same jokes and stories that he tells on the show as well as in his book. That was about 2/3 of the act. The rest was original material. I suspect that the 300 assholes sitting around me demand Howard stern references as they keep shouting them out. That is why his focus is there. Otherwise I would prefer to hear him do "original" material. The 2 opening acts... The big fat dude was funny. But he walked off stage in the middle of a joke and never finished it. I guess he ran out of time. The skinny bald guy, well... I have no idea who he was and he was not holding the mic properly as no one could understand him anyway. He sounded like the teacher from Charlie Brown. Over all a good show. But I saw Jim Florentine a few weeks later. It was better. The Robert's Orpheum Theater... Well, the whole place smelled of taco meat. The seats were too small and the bathrooms are non existent.
