Menu: Mediterranean-themed small plates, pastas, sandwiches, pizzas and four entrees.
Atmosphere: A cheery interior with decorative hints of the space’s past as a bike shop, plus a very nice outdoor space enhanced by the residential quality of the surrounding neighborhood.
It’s another example of a neighborhood restaurant where I’d certainly be a regular if I lived in the neighborhood, but it also has sufficient quality to draw from points further distant.

Bici Cafe
i dont know what the previous reviewer was on when he ate at Bici but IT IS GREAT! i just moved to the neighborhood and have been there at least 6-7 times in 3 weeks. The menu is set up to meet everyones needs, small plates,BIG plates, neopolitan pizza (awesome)and sandwitchs. But my favorite is their awesome homemade sangria with 5 different rums and vodkas and fresh fruit. my girfriend and I have spect many nights on their perfectly lit patio enjoying that delicious blend. I only hope that they serve it after the summer ends. I strongly encourage everyone to get of the Clayton bandwagon and try a wonderful neighborhood restaurant with big city taste and variety. Oh, and previous reviewer is nut; the boullabaise is incredible, full of fresh fish and justr the right amount of saffron. ENJOYLIFE!

It sure seems like the perfect neighborhood for a neighborhood cafe. But for whatever reason — relative distance from the Clayton business district, tiny parking lot, idiosyncratic interior — the space at 7401 Pershing Avenue at the southern edge of University City has hosted a succession of restaurants in the past couple of decades.
