Landmark Tivoli Theatre

Woody Harrelson goes full throttle in a strong performance as a twisted L.A. police officer in this absorbing drama. Ned Beatty as a former cop, Sigourney Weaver as an in-house investigating attorney and Ice Cube also give solid performances. It's a gritty, well-written flick, with Harrelson supposedly taking some of the heat following the real Rampart - a police station in a rough, low income area west of downtown L.A. -scandal, which cost the city of L.A. over a $100 million dollars, overturned more than 100 convictions, and sent about a dozen police officers to the can. Strong performances and a plot with several turns combine to easily hold your interest, but beware - it's not all pretty...
