I went there on a friday night around 9-10 and was kinda disappointed to tell the truth. The server i had didnt know any drink specials or any of the top shelf drinks. Then I ordered some rolls that the server half heartedly recommended and was dissapointed in that too. I mean the tab was about 60 bucks for me and my date,I was expecting a bit more. And plus the patrons there were tools and creepers. To sum it up, its not worth the price tag.
This place reminded me of a place in new york city. the people around the neighborhood and all the local restaurants, make this corner location a sure winner. Let me say first that the food is AMAZING! i loved all the signature rolls and the martinis. i have been here twice and you might want to call ahead because of the wait to get seated. The sushi is by far the BEST i had in missouri and perhaps the best period. Highly Recommended!
My friend and I recently went to Drunken Fish in the CWE. We were seated at the sushi bar and were getting ready to order when a roach crawled across the counter. A cook saw this happen, including the roach crawling into the sushi making part of the counter. However when the waitress came and was informed of what we had seen, he said he hadn't seen anything. This is the most repulsive thing I have ever seen at a restaurant, it seems the staff is used to this. I don't recommend this place and would hate for people to get sick eating there.
