One of the oldest continuing barbecue businesses (since 1965) in the area, C&K used to have multiple locations but now is down to this one joint, a former gasoline station. Offering carry-out only, customers can have spare ribs as well as down-home treats including snouts, ears, rib tips and tripe.

tough meat
I went to C&K with hopes to find another bbq jewel in this area. I order the spare ribs, pulled pork and snoots. The ribs were awful they were so tough i couldn't even eat them. No smoke flavor, hardly any rub and they tasted boiled. I asked the lady who took my order what kind of wood they use to smoke the meat and she said they don't used wood just carcoal so there ya go. The pulled pork was ok but contained alot of fat. The snoots were not cooked or prepared properly. I could not eat even half of them, they were soft and chewy. The best thing was the sauce which was decent. Not worth the trip stay away!
