Not too long ago, the notion of a "store with a restaurant" might have meant a convenience store with a few decrepit taquitos shriveling under a heat lamp. Yet while it might not be substantial enough to deem a St. Louis trend, there's certainly a "trendlet" in the works: a new crop of small, bargain-priced ethnic restaurants piggy-backing off established grocers.
