When you want to feel like you are out of town!
Loved the menu and the setting...enjoyed an excellent bottle of wine with lunch on a sunny fall afternoon! I felt like I was somewhere else for the afternoon...Citygarden is a true St Louis gem!

The Terrace View is one of those restaurants that makes you feel special just by being there.
Ensconced on an elevated site at the new Citygarden downtown, the Terrace View is designed as what its architect, Philip Durham of Soulard, calls a Miesian glass box, after the style of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.
Given the location, it would have been easy to offer a least-common-denominator menu, but that possibility went out the window when the Citygarden people chose Jim Fiala to run the Terrace View. He has shown a knack for innovation and adaptation in his three other restaurants: the Crossing, Liluma and Acero.
