Like any time long time friends, there are ups and downs and life changing events. How do we deal with them? These 8 friends who only happen to be gay, show us. Some deal with it better then others. We have the long-term older couple, an aging dancer and his young lover, the frustrated composer and his dying twin brother. We also find the single musical theatre lover who is longing for a human connection before time runs out. Throw in the hot young latina dancer who is new to the summer ritual that happens over Memorial Day, Independence and Labor Day and you have laughter, anger, betrayl and love. If we all could only come together like they do.

Citilites Theatre, a distant memory on the St. Louis theater scene, has returned. It hasn’t performed in over a decade. Still, did it rush things? To judge from its new production of “Love! Valour! Compassion!,” Citilites could have used a little more time.
