Green Speaker Series: Beekeeping

Backyard beekeeping is a growing trend, and the subject of the July's Green Speaker Series event. Yvonne Von Der Ahe, who became interested in the honey bee while completing the Missouri Master Naturalist Certification program, will be our speaker. She has kept honey bees since 2008 and enjoys making and selling products of the hive. Yvonne is presently the Eastern Missouri Beekeepers Association Newsletter Editor, and has presented at state and regional beekeeping conferences.
