Sunset Over the Cropland

(Ages 6 and Up) Columbia Bottom Conservation Area is big sky country in North County, and the sunsets here can be spectacular. Watch the setting sun as we walk toward the Cropland Overlook. We’ll discuss how our fields of corn benefit wildlife, farmers, and the MDC before we continue by the light of the full moon to the Wetland Boardwalk and then return to the Slough Exploration Station. Meet at the slough parking lot “M”—about four miles from the front entrance. (Reservations begin July 20.)
