Robby Hecht

Robby Hecht formulated his earnest, Americana-tinged folk sound, one that nodded to artists like Joe Purdy and Damien Jurado, while he was a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He settled in Nashville, TN, after he graduated, and spent the next few years touring the country, sharing the stage with artists like Patty Griffin and Ron Sexsmith, and snagging various songwriting awards.
