In the near future, people live their lives free of pain, danger and complications through robotic representations of themselves, called surrogates. When the first murder in more than a decade rocks this near-perfect society, FBI Agent Greer (Bruce Willis) discovers a vast conspiracy and must abandon his own surrogate to solve the crime, risking his own life in the process.

Surrogates is what the world would be like if the Duracell battery family teamed up with the crash test dummies to take over the world. I wish I had a surrogate so it could have watched this horrible movie for me.Surrogates tries to point out that as a society we are becoming more detached and vain which you can also see on your favorite reality TV show. Where District 9 Succeeded Surrogates failed; in the fact that I could care less what happen to any of these ridiculous robots. This film spent too much time trying to bring you in to this future world and did not establish any real relationships between any of the characters. While watching scenes made to make you cry I could actually here people laugh and open bootlegged beer bottles which made me jealous. Do not let the half naked half robot marketing fool you there is nothing exciting about Surrogates and is a big Dont See.
