Global humanitarian, Templeton Prize winner and Nobel Peace Prize Nominee Jean Vanier recently died at age 90. He founded the innovative world-wide network of L'Arche communities were people with and without disabilities live together in small communities. There are L'Arche homes and programs in 40 countries and 150 cities around the world, including St. Louis. A memorial service celebrating his life and legacy will be held in St. Louis on July 16.19.
