Area residents are invited to gather their lawn chairs, blankets and picnic dinners, and come to the Concordia Seminary, St. Louis campus for beautiful summer June evenings listening to the carillon. The carillon at Concordia Seminary is one of only 170 such instruments in North America. The carillon is a unique instrument allowing one to hear music written for the carillon and music written for other instruments adapted for the carillon.
The annual Summer Carillon Series will be held at 7 p.m. each Tuesday in June in the main quandrangle. All recitals are free and open to the public.
