The Decoupage Art of Barbara and Greg Matchick

The pieces in this exhibit are the collaborative works of resident artist Greg Matchick and his wife Barbara. Barbara incorporates Greg’s fine art European scenes into “objets d’art” by means of the centuries old art form of decoupage, thus creating utilitarian works of art from modern-day objects. Each piece is printed by the artist on art paper, applied to the object with decoupage techniques using multiple layers of varnish to create the finished work.
